Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®
Focus: Mental Health
A self-described foodie, Jayne Reynolds is a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist® who is committed to helping individuals protect their brain health both now and in the future.
After battling crippling anxiety, depression, and brain fog for six years and discovering that the key to healing was in her food choices and targeted nutritional therapies, she obtained her Certification in Holistic Nutrition through the Energetic Health Institute in 2016. In 2017, she received her Board Certification through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
Her 12-year career with Christian Care, a senior housing company in Phoenix, AZ, cultivated a unique perspective about aging and brain health. Influenced by the devastating stories of Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, and Parkinson’s, she aspires to empower, educate, and encourage everyone to take care of their greatest asset, their mind. She uses her platform to educate on the connection between nutrition, gut health, and brain health. She has spoken at Leading Age Arizona and teaches at retirement communities in the Phoenix area. She also provides a guest lecture annually for Dr. Terry at Grand Canyon University.
She founded the Abundant Life Nutrition and Wellness Center in 2016, which she now runs with her partner, Kelly Calkins. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they take back control of their health, enabling them to maintain independence, freedom, and quality of life at any stage.
This year Jayne is studying at the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition and pursuing certification as a Brain Health Professional through Amen Clinics.
Mother to three daughters, she lives in Mesa, AZ, with her husband of 26 years. She loves British movies and time spent communing with nature.
Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®
Committed to living life fully and vibrantly, Kelly Calkins is a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist® dedicated to helping people take control of their health and live their best life.
Kelly grew up loving learning, the outdoors, all things food, and staying active. After getting married and having children, she found herself fighting multiple autoimmune diseases. Overwhelmed, brittle, and exhausted, Kelly spent over a decade battling for her health. By the time she was in her early 30s, she was diagnosed with six autoimmune diseases. Refusing to settle for a significantly impaired quality of life, Kelly turned to nutrition and lifestyle to turn the tables on the dysfunction in her body. She successfully calmed down the overactive autoimmune response in her body, healed her gut, and eliminated the symptoms that plagued her.
Discovering her true passion and calling, Kelly left her career as an IT Engineer, went back to school, and graduated from the Energetic Health Institute as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist with an area of focus of Autoimmune Disease. She joined the Abundant Life team in 2020 and received her Board Certification through the NANP in July 2021. Kelly has a thirst for knowledge and is passionate about showing people that they don’t need to settle for how they feel. She loves to help clients start thriving instead of just surviving.
This year, Kelly is pursuing certification through the American Institute of Integrative Oncology.
Kelly is a mom of three and lives in Mesa, AZ, with her husband of 19 years. She enjoys family time, her fur babies, and spending time in nature.
